AI is integrated into the curriculum from early on. You use GitHub Copilot and Claude as part of your daily coding workflow, and you build projects that include AI features like RAG-based search. This is not an optional add-on. It is how the program works.

You also learn the African Stack: M-Pesa integration through the Daraja API, USSD menus, and WhatsApp Business API. These are tools for building products that work in the Kenyan and East African market. By the end of the program, you have 8 production-grade applications deployed to live URLs.

What we lack: a physical campus, TVETA accreditation, and a large alumni network. We are a newer program. We are growing, but we do not yet have years of graduate data to point to.

Zindua School runs coding programs in Nairobi with a JavaScript and React focus. The program duration is around 6 months, and the cost is approximately KES 150,000. They have built a visible presence in the Nairobi tech training market.

AI integration. This is the biggest difference we are aware of. McTaba Labs integrates AI tools and AI feature development into the core curriculum from the start. AI is not a module at the end. It is part of how you write code every day. We do not have verified information about Zindua's approach to AI in their curriculum. Ask them directly.

African Stack. McTaba teaches M-Pesa integration (Daraja API), USSD, and WhatsApp Business API as core curriculum. These are the tools you need to build products for the Kenyan market. Not every bootcamp includes these. If building for the African market is important to you, ask any school you consider whether they cover these integrations.
